If you’re looking for one of the easiest ways to maximize the Paze Spend $10, Get $10 Back promotion, Sephora has been my favorite merchant by far.

I’ve completed 15+ Sephora purchases using Paze, testing both Buy Online, Pick Up In Store and shipping orders. Personally, I prefer store pickup because it’s faster, I can verify my order before leaving, and if I change my mind, I’ve even been able to exchange some items and apply the credit toward higher-priced products I really wanted.

New to Paze? Be sure to read my complete Paze Spend $10, Get $10 Back Guide, where I explain how the promotion works, eligible cards, participating merchants, common mistakes to avoid, and my real-world testing.

Sephora Stackup Sale!

If you’re shopping before the current promotion ends (July 7, 2026), here’s how I’m stacking my savings:

  • 30% off Sephora Collection with promo code SAVESC
  • Stack Up Bonus Points event:
    • 2X points for Beauty Insider
    • 3X points for VIB
    • 4X points for Rouge
  • Pay with Paze to earn your $10 statement credit on qualifying purchases.

My Favorite Sephora Picks

These are products I’ve either personally purchased or would recommend using with the Paze promotion. Prices can change, so I’ve grouped them by approximate price rather than exact dollar amounts.

Under $20

Travel-Size Favorites

One of my favorite ways to use this promotion has been stocking up on travel essentials that I normally wouldn’t buy because I tend to purchase full-size products.

Some of my favorites include:

My Holy Grail Products

These are products I continue to repurchase and would recommend even outside of this promotion.

Save Even More with the Sephora Collection Sale

If you’re shopping while the Sephora Collection sale is live, this is one of my favorite ways to maximize the Paze promotion.

Use promo code SAVESC for 30% off Sephora Collection products. Depending on your Beauty Insider status, you can also stack the Stack Up event to earn 2X points (Insider), 3X points (VIB), or 4X points (Rouge) on eligible purchases.

To keep your out-of-pocket cost as low as possible, I recommend adding about $14–$15 worth of Sephora Collection products to your cart. After the 30% discount, your subtotal will typically fall to around $10, before taxes and fees.

One important tip: The Paze promotion is based on the final amount charged to your card. If you live in a state with little or no sales tax, don’t cut it too close—you’ll want your final charged amount to remain at least $10 after all discounts are applied.

Using this strategy, some of my orders have cost me as little as $0.54 out of pocket after receiving the $10 Paze statement credit. When you also earn your regular credit card rewards, shopping portal cash back or points, and bonus rewards like Chase’s 10X Paze benefit (if eligible), the total value can be even greater.

Don’t Forget About Beauty Insider Points

For a limited time during the current Sephora promotion (through July 7), Sephora is also offering a special redemption of just 250 Beauty Insider points for $5 off. This is a temporary offer—normally, Beauty Insider members need 500 points to redeem $10 off, while Rouge members can redeem 1,000 points for $20 off. I’ve been taking advantage of the 250-point redemption to further lower my out-of-pocket cost on Paze purchases.

I’ve found this especially helpful when purchasing products that aren’t part of the Sephora Collection sale. For example, I used my points toward the EADEM Le Chouchou Peptide Lip Balm, one of my current favorite lip products. Between the Paze statement credit, Beauty Insider rewards, and exchanges, I’ve been able to upgrade to products I really wanted while spending little to nothing out of pocket.

My Sephora Shopping Strategy

After testing 15+ Sephora purchases, I’ve learned a few tricks that have helped me maximize this promotion.

First, I never aim for exactly $10. Instead, I build my cart so my final charged amount is around $11 or more, giving myself a cushion in case taxes or order adjustments reduce the final transaction amount.

I also prefer Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) whenever possible. It’s faster, helps me avoid impulse purchases, and I’ve successfully exchanged several Paze purchases for higher-priced products that I ultimately wanted more.

If you’re making an exchange in-store, there are two things I’d recommend checking before you leave the register:

  • Make sure the associate applies the 30% Sephora Collection discount when applicable, as it may not be applied automatically during an exchange.
  • If you’re participating in the Stack Up promotion, confirm that your bonus points multiplier has also been applied.

Finally, if you decide to return an item purchased with Paze, keep in mind that returning the purchase to your original payment method may reduce or reverse your qualifying transaction, which could affect your eligibility for the $10 statement credit. If you’re simply swapping products, an exchange or store merchandise credit may be the better option, depending on your situation and Sephora’s current return policy.
