Hilton Grand Vacations has brought back one of its most popular promotions: a discounted 3-night resort stay plus 100,000 Hilton Honors points after attending a timeshare presentation, with packages starting at $199.

This is one of the highest offers we’ve seen Hilton release recently, making it a great opportunity if you’ve been considering taking advantage of one of these packages.

On average, 100,000 Hilton Honors points are worth about $500, though the value can be much higher depending on how you redeem them. At many mid-tier Hilton properties, that amount can easily cover 2-3 free nights, and possibly even more if you maximize perks like Hilton’s 5th Night Free benefit on award stays.

The promotion can become even more valuable if you know how to stack it with credit card benefits, especially if you hold a Hilton Honors credit card that offers resort credits or statement credits that can offset part of the package cost.

I personally took advantage of this offer last year for a Las Vegas trip to see Chris Brown in concert. If you want the full breakdown of the property, presentation, and how the points were posted, you can read my full experience here:

How to Maximize This Hilton Grand Vacations Offer

If you’re planning to book this package, there are a few strategies that can make the deal even better.

Use Credit Card Credits

One of the easiest ways to reduce your out-of-pocket cost is by stacking credit card travel or resort credits. Certain Hilton and premium travel cards offer statement credits that can offset travel purchases, which may apply to these preview packages.

When I booked my stay previously, I was able to offset much of the cost using credits from the American Express Business Platinum and Hilton Business Card.

If you’re unsure whether your Hilton Honors card includes credits that could apply, I outline the specific cards and details in my full experience post here:

Wait Before Selecting Your Travel Dates

Sometimes good things come to those who wait, and another strategy many people overlook is not selecting their travel dates immediately after purchasing the package.

After you buy the package, Hilton will typically follow up with reminder emails encouraging you to confirm your stay. In some cases, Hilton may send additional incentives to encourage you to lock in your travel dates.

For example, I received a follow-up offer for an additional 25,000 Hilton Honors points if I booked my stay by a certain deadline.

Other travelers have reported receiving resort credits or other bonuses for confirming their stay within a promotional window.

Understand the Presentation Requirement

As part of the promotion, guests must attend a Hilton Grand Vacations ownership presentation, which usually lasts about two hours.

During the session, Hilton representatives explain their vacation ownership program and present various purchase options.

The 100,000 Hilton Honors points are awarded after completing the presentation, so it’s important to plan time for it during your stay.

Most experienced travelers approach these offers with the understanding that the goal is the discounted stay and the points — not the ownership program itself.

Are Hilton Grand Vacations Promotions Worth It?

For travelers who understand how the promotion works, these packages can deliver strong value.

You’re essentially receiving:

  • A discounted resort stay
  • 100,000 Hilton Honors points
  • Access to Hilton Grand Vacations resort properties

However, it’s important to understand that the goal of the presentation is to sell vacation ownership packages.

In most cases, these packages do not make financial sense for many travelers, especially compared to simply booking travel using points and miles.

The key is going into the presentation knowing that you’re there for the stay and the points.

Final Thoughts

If you already have travel plans to destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando, or Myrtle Beach, these packages can be a convenient way to earn a large chunk of Hilton Honors points while enjoying a discounted stay.

The ability to purchase the package now and travel anytime within the next year also makes it relatively flexible.

As long as you’re comfortable sitting through the presentation and saying no to the sales pitch, these offers can be a useful way to build up Hilton points for future redemptions.

If you’re interested in this offer, it must typically be purchased here by March 31, 2026.

I also recommend calling to book the offer when possible, as some travelers report receiving additional incentives when speaking with an agent. If you do call, reference the promotion and keep a screenshot of the offer details in case verification is needed.

What are your thoughts? Would you sit through a timeshare presentation in exchange for 100K points?
