World of Hyatt Annual Award Category Chart Updates: Effective March 26th

WOH has announced its annual award category changes. While some categories have decreased, a few popular properties such as Thompson Chicago, Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Place Waikiki, Andaz Singapore, among others, have been affected by the changes.

I recently had a staycation at the Thompson Chicago and found it to be a great option to use my Category 1-4 Free Night Certificates (FNC). As I have three certificates, I am now contemplating whether to use one of them here before the March 26th deadline.

Existing or new reservations made by March 26th will be charged at the old rates before the new changes come into effect. On the bright side, for the categories that have decreased, you will be eligible for redemption refunds on or after March 26th.

You can find more details on all the new category changes by clicking on the link below.

Out of all the changes, which ones are you most disappointed in or excited about?
