In today’s fast-paced world, convenience is key, particularly when it comes to transportation. Lyft provides reliable ride-sharing services that make getting around town easier. What’s more, you can earn valuable points and miles towards your next adventure simply by taking a Lyft ride. Lyft has partnered with various loyalty programs, allowing you to earn rewards for every ride you take. So, the next time you need to go somewhere, choose Lyft and earn rewards while you ride.
Lyft and Partnerships: Making Miles on the Move
Lyft has partnered with various travel and hospitality brands to reward its riders through its loyalty program, Lyft Rewards. Passengers can earn points on every eligible ride.
Lyft has collaborated with airlines such as Delta Air Lines and hotel chains like Hilton Honors. By using Lyft, you can earn airline miles or hotel points for every mile you ride. Whether you’re going to the airport or exploring a new city, each Lyft ride brings you closer to your next getaway.
Here are the current loyalty partners and the benefits they offer:
- Bilt Rewards: Earn 2 Bilt Points per $1 spent on rideshare in the US when Bilt is set as your active loyalty partner. You can earn an additional 3 Bilt Points per $1 spent when you pay with a Bilt Mastercard®. (Terms apply.)
- Delta SkyMiles: Earn 1 mile per $1 on every ride in the US.
- Hilton Honors: Earn 3 points per $1 on Lyft rides.
- Alaska Airlines: Earn 1 mile for every $1 spent on Lyft rides (excludes taxes, tolls, tips).
Simply link your loyalty reward accounts to the Lyft app, and you can start earning today! However, you can only choose one loyalty partner program to earn points or miles from, but you can change it at any time in your Lyft account.
Maximizing Rewards with Chase Cards
Chase cardholders can take advantage of earning rewards on Lyft rides. Through March 2025, with the partnership of Chase and Lyft, select Chase credit cardholders such as Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred can earn up to 10x Ultimate Rewards points on their Lyft rides. This means you can stack rewards by earning points from the loyalty program of your choice, along with additional points from your credit card through March 2025.
There are different rewards depending on the type of Chase card you have. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can earn 10x total Ultimate Rewards points on their Lyft rides, while Chase Sapphire, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Rise, and Chase Ink cardholders can earn 5x total Ultimate Rewards points or 5% total cash back on their Lyft rides.
Chase Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardholders are eligible for an additional benefit where they can get 2 free years of Lyft Pink All Access and 50% off the 3rd year. They can enroll in this offer before December 31, 2024.
Remember, if you are working towards meeting a spending requirement for a sign-up bonus, the bonus points earned from meeting that requirement will almost always outweigh any category earnings. Therefore, it’s important to choose wisely which credit card to use for your rideshare trips.
Earn Lyft Credit with Mastercard®
Lyft has partnered with select Mastercard® credit cards to offer riders the chance to earn Lyft Credit. To qualify, simply take three eligible rides within a month and pay with your World, World Elite, or Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive Mastercard®. This promotion is available for rides within the US only.
After completing your third ride, Lyft will automatically credit your Lyft account with the applicable amount based on your credit card type. If you use your World or World Elite Mastercard, you will receive $5 credit, while supplies last. If you use your Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive Mastercard®, you will receive $10 credit. Please note that terms and conditions apply.
