BILT has officially added Alaska Airlines as a transfer partner, effective immediately

BILT has added Alaska Airlines as their newest transfer partner. This news comes just a few days after BILT announced the end of their partnership with American Airlines as a transfer partner.

Alaska Airlines miles are considered to be harder to earn as they have not previously participated in any credit card transferable programs. Therefore, this is a huge win for frequent travelers who can now earn Alaska Airlines miles by using their BILT card.

With the new partnership, you will earn 3x points per $1 spent when you use your Alaska Airlines card. However, keep in mind that you will still be charged a 3% processing fee. As long as the value from those miles makes sense, it would still be worth the fee.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Sweet Spots

One of the best things about Alaska Airlines is the sweet spots they offer. Thanks to the partnership with BILT, you now have the ability to transfer BILT points at a 1:1 ratio. This means that you can take advantage of their free stopovers and fly to beautiful Fiji island for just 55k Alaska Airlines miles in business class. Most airlines start at 40k just for economy and you can also add a free stopover in the South Pacific such as Australia or New Zealand.
